Stephanie's block for April

Despite the lack of "Cotton and Steel" fabrics in my stash, I think this works?  I certainly hope Stephanie think so! It was a fun block to make!

Gorgeous Gertie Block for Stephanie

I had a quiet afternoon, so got busy and made Stephanie's block for April.  I tried two different horse colors for the center, but decided I wanted the anchor of the mustardy-brown color in the center.  It finished at 12 1/2" square.  Thanks for a fun block!

 Here you go, Cindy. I finished your block before the month of March ended, but didn't get it mailed till today...April Fool's !! (That's why the owl is winking, of course!)

I also made one more cake block for my quilt, so will soon be having fun deciding on a fun way to set everything together.
