Jolly Old St. Nicholas
Made and Quilted by Elizabeth Eastmond
While the basic pattern (including that very cute Santa) came from Thimblecreek Quilts, the success of this quilt would have not have been possible without the help of my beemates in the Mid-Century Modern Quilt Bee. All the blocks came in on time and were within 1/8" measurement of each other. For those of you in other bees, you know how extraordinary that is.
I included everyone's names on my label.
The boring old back, but I included it to show another fine feature of our bee: signature blocks. We all make and sign a signature block to be included with our quilt blocks. I love looking at them all and appreciate their contributions.
You know how much I love this quilt! So happy to have been a small part of it!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great quilt Elizabeth and I am proud to be a small part of it! All blocks within one eighth of an inch?! I'm impressed! I love that the label also has all our names on it! Very special!
ReplyDeleteThat IS amazing about the blocks. Still can't believe how fast you made this. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you posted this. It is SUPER cute. Loved having a part of it. I think the 1/8" speaks to the skills of everyone in this special group.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing this quilt again! Wow, I am super impressed with the piecing skills of this group ;-) Thanks for showing a picture of the back with all our siggy blocks.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is awesome in so many ways!
